Greenpark Compounding Pharmacy is a 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy serving physicians, clinics, and patients across Houston and all of Texas. WHO WE ARE TODAY

Greenpark is an accredited compounding pharmacy operating under USP <797> and USP <800> standards, with advanced cleanrooms for sterile and hazardous preparations. As a PCCA member, we’re licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

OUR STORY

Greenpark was founded in 1992 by Ken and Nancy Hughes, with their young daughter Amanda close behind. What started as a neighborhood compounding pharmacy in Houston has grown into one of Texas’s most trusted sterile compounding operations — but the founding principle hasn’t changed.

Over the years, Greenpark has been part of pancreatic cancer research with the Stehlin Foundation, supplied medications for pediatric malaria treatment studies in Africa, and weathered every storm Houston has thrown at it. When asked why they’ve taken on the work they have, the Hughes family has always had the same answer: “This is what we do.”

Today, that same mindset runs the pharmacy. We take on the prescriptions other pharmacies won’t, solve the formulation problems commercial manufacturers ignore, and show up for the patients and prescribers who need us.

HOW WE WORK WITH PATIENTS

Patients come to Greenpark because their prescriber sent them — or because they’ve been told “no” by another pharmacy. We say yes to the complicated ones: the dye-free formulations, the customized strengths, the allergen-free bases, the flavors that finally get a kid to take a medication. Our team walks every new patient through what their medication is, how to use it, and what to expect. We coordinate refills, answer questions, and ship direct so patients don’t have to add a pharmacy trip to an already full week.
